Maintenance visit on an established home.
1. Cleaning Checklist
This is maintenance, not a reset
The home is already at standard from a prior Deep Clean. You are keeping it there, not catching it up. Reachable areas only — no moving furniture.
All Rooms
Dust, vacuum, floors — reachable areas

- Dust all furniture and clean flat surfaces
- Dust ceiling fans, vents, registers, and high-reach areas
- Remove any visible cobwebs
- Vacuum reachable floor areas — no moving furniture
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all reachable floors
- Dust windowsills and blinds
- Dust baseboards — full hand-wipe is the Deep Clean, not recurring
Not in scope: Small items get moved, cleaned under, and put back. Heavy furniture (beds, dressers, sofas, appliances) stays in place — clean what is reachable around it.
Touch points, glass, trash

- Spot clean doors, doorways, and trim where needed
- Clean and disinfect all light switches, door knobs, and high-touch surfaces
- Dust mirrors and frame edges, then polish glass
- Empty all trash cans and replace bag
- Pet-hair pass with a lint roller or pet-hair tool
Kitchen

- Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, and backsplash
- Wipe down exterior of all cabinets and drawers
- Clean stovetop, drip pans, and burner grates
- Clean exterior of oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher
- Clean inside the microwave
- Stainless steel fingerprint pass on fridge, dishwasher, oven, and microwave fronts
- Dishes loaded into dishwasher if empty
- Sweep and mop floor
Bathrooms
Bathroom maintenance pass

- Clean and sanitize shower walls, bathtub, and shower glass door
- Sanitize toilet bowl and seat
- Clean toilet base, behind the toilet, and floor around it
- Clean and sanitize sinks, wipe down countertops
- Wipe exterior of cabinets and drawers
- Clean and polish all chrome fixtures
- Sweep and mop floor
Bedrooms
Bedroom maintenance pass

- Make beds — change linens only if clean linens are left out by the customer
- Dust furniture, wet-dust where applicable
- Couch and upholstery quick vacuum, cushions left in place
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all reachable floors
Final QC and After Photos

- Walk through every room and confirm every checklist item is complete
- Confirm sinks, mirrors, and stainless surfaces are streak-free
- If before photos were taken, take after photos from the same angle
- Final equipment check: nothing left behind in any room
2. Required Photos
Before photos 1 wide photo per room, first visit or on request only

Not required on a routine recurring visit unless the customer asked, or your office told you to.

Lighter than the Deep Clean bathroom set — recurring is a maintenance pass, not a reset.
3. Don't Miss
Photos are conditional here
Do not take a full photo set on every routine recurring stop — first visit or customer request only. Over-shooting a maintenance visit slows you down for no reason.
Baseboards: dust, not hand-wipe
A recurring visit dusts baseboards. The full hand-wipe is Deep Clean scope — do not spend the extra time here unless asked.
4. Questions / Limits
We do not move furniture
Small items get moved, cleaned under, and put back. Heavy furniture (beds, dressers, sofas, appliances) stays in place — clean what is reachable around it.
We do not move appliances
Cleaners do not move the fridge, oven, or washer/dryer to clean behind them. This is out of scope for every service. "Behind the toilet" is different — that is always in scope.

Exact photo counts on this page are a first-pass proposal, not yet an approved standard. Confirm with your office before treating a missing shot as a problem.
Anything outside this guide — flag it to your office before improvising. Never promise a customer scope that isn't on this list.
