1. Cleaning Checklist
One core difference from every other service
The property is empty. There is no "move it, clean under it, put it back" — there is nothing in the way, and interiors that are normally out of scope are now the point.
Empty-home rule

Because the home is empty, cabinet interiors, closet interiors, and appliance interiors move INTO scope for this service only. Nowhere else does NNT clean inside cabinets, inside the oven, or inside the fridge as base scope.
All Rooms
Dust, vacuum, floors

- Dust all furniture and clean flat surfaces
- Dust ceiling fans, vents, registers, high-reach areas, and cobwebs
- Vacuum under all accessible furniture
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors
- Dust and wipe windowsills and blinds
Glass, closets, trash

- Clean all interior window glass, frames, and sills
- Wet-wipe all baseboards by hand
- Dust mirrors and frame edges, then polish glass
- Clean inside and outside of every closet — shelves, rods, floor
- Wipe exterior of the washer and dryer
- Empty all trash cans and replace bag

Kitchen
Cabinets and drawers, inside and out

- Clean stovetop, then pull and clean drip pans, burner grates, and under burner caps

- Clean exterior of oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher
- Clean inside the oven — racks, walls, door, glass
- Clean inside the fridge and freezer — shelves, drawers, walls, gaskets

- Stainless steel fingerprint pass on fridge, dishwasher, oven, and microwave fronts
Bathrooms
Full bathroom pass, cabinets included

- Clean and sanitize shower walls, bathtub, and shower glass door
- Descale shower heads and faucets
- Sanitize toilet bowl and seat
- Clean toilet base, behind the toilet, and floor around it
- Empty and wipe inside every cabinet, drawer, and vanity
- Clean and polish all chrome fixtures, removing hard water
- Wipe down the exhaust fan cover

Closets and built-ins

- Thorough dusting of furniture, wet-dust where applicable

- Empty and wipe inside any built-in drawers
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors
Final QC and After Photos

- Walk through every room and confirm every checklist item is complete
- Confirm inside of oven, fridge, microwave, and every cabinet are visibly clean
- Take after photos of the inside of the oven, fridge, freezer, and cabinets
- Final equipment check: nothing left behind in any room
2. Required Photos
Before photos — every room + every interior 1 wide photo per room, 1 per interior

The interior shots are the ones that protect you on a security-deposit dispute. Do not skip them because the room looks empty.

3. Don't Miss
Interiors are the whole point here
This is the one service where "the room looks empty and clean" is not enough — cabinet, closet, and appliance interiors are what gets disputed on a security deposit.
Before photos of interiors, not just rooms
Without a before shot of the fridge interior, you cannot prove pre-existing residue was not yours to begin with.
4. Questions / Limits
Window tracks stay out
Frames and sills are in scope; window tracks are PCC-only, not Moving scope.
We do not move appliances
Cleaners do not move the fridge, oven, or washer/dryer to clean behind them. This is out of scope for every service. "Behind the toilet" is different — that is always in scope.
Photo counts are a draft
Exact photo counts on this page are a first-pass proposal, not yet an approved standard. Confirm with your office before treating a missing shot as a problem.
Anything outside this guide — flag it to your office before improvising. Never promise a customer scope that isn't on this list.
